We Have a Bright Future

I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Sandra Kim and I am running as the UCP nominee candidate for our new constituency of Maskwacis-Wetaskiwin. After attending the One-Year Unity Anniversary with Jason Kenney on July 22, 2018 in Edmonton, AB, I was inspired to record a video to voice my enthusiasm for our future in Alberta.

Eliminating the Carbon Levy

We must repeal the job-killing carbon tax. The job-killing carbon tax is the biggest tax ever created in Alberta's history. The NDP's carbon tax was not even mentioned in their political campaign, and is perhaps the largest lie in Alberta's political history. Carbon tax drives up the cost of everything, and repealing it will help restore investor confidence in our province.

Parental Choice

We Albertans believe in freedom and one of the ways we show it is by giving moms and dads the freedom to choose the best kind of education for their kids. We call it school choice. It's a successful tradition where we honor the diversity of kids. They're not all the same and we also honor the values of Alberta families by supporting the education choices that they make.

Battling Rural Crime

We must properly fund the justice system to ensure that criminals are not allowed to go free due to the inability of prosecutors to deal with their workload. We must stand behind law enforcement, but also provide competent and sufficient personnel to keep policing efforts from going in vain. Our focus must be on efficiency and enforcement, which leads to reduction in crime.
